SCDI is delivering a Business Seminar as part of the Scotland’s Towns Week 2014 country-wide activity.
Scotland’s Towns Week provides people with the opportunity to reconnect with place and shape the business and working environment around them. It involves activity in locations the length and breadth of the country and this is your chance to get involved.
- Douglas Farquhar, Centre Manager of Falkirk Business Hub will welcome guests to the new, innovative, state of the art fully managed business centre which is based in the centre of Falkirk.
- Alastair Mitchell, Manager of Falkirk Delivers will provide an overview of the Business Improvement District (BID) and the work it is undertaking, on behalf of local businesses, to make Falkirk town centre a better place to visit, shop, work and invest.
- Diarmaid Lawlor, Head of Urbanism, Architecture & Design Scotland will give an overview of the work they are currently doing in partnership with the Scottish Futures Trust on “place based reviews” and how these can help inform decisions around the re-organisation of public services and the public estate in towns such as Falkirk.
This is an opportunity for you to support the promotion of Scotland’s Towns and learn more about the opportunities to develop and drive growth in your local area.
