As an ageing entrepreneur, I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiment of the article – “it is dangerous for entrepreneurs to retire” – I have no intention of doing so but not through fear of my own destiny, but because I think it’s imperative that we capture learned experience and don’t let it die out of industry.
For me business has always been more about making a difference than making a profit and I truly believe that we need to harness the knowledge of “olderpreneurs” to inspire and stimulate new business and support “entrepreneurs” through mentoring.
