New Falkirk accountancy firm and Hub tenant, Boddice Accounting, is already making its mark in the local business community. The company has already won its first awards and has come third in the recent HEAT 2022 competition.
The HEAT is the Forth Valley’s Dragon’s Den style competition for new businesses in the area. Held every year, The HEAT competition is open to Forth Valley businesses who have been trading for a year or less. Thousands of pounds worth of business-related prizes are up for grabs and competition is fierce. After reaching the final of the competition in March, founder Vicki Boddice had to pitch her business idea to a panel of judges. She impressed them with her innovative, personalised approach to accounting and tailored packages for small businesses. Boddice Accounting was awarded third place, winning £500 worth of prizes to help develop and grow the young accountancy firm.
Despite being in business for less than a year, it isn’t the first time that the business has gained recognition. Boddice Accounting was also named as one of the 2021 firms to watch by AccountingWeb.com, the largest independent online community for accountancy professionals in the UK. The company is also a finalist in Start Up Awards Scotland 2022 and a finalist in the Women’s Business Awards 2022.
Boddice Accounting is one of a number of new tenants to move into Falkirk Business Hub recently. We’re delighted that such an innovative and highly regarded startup business has chosen to have an office here in Falkirk’s premier business hub.
We’d like to say a big Congratulations to Vicki and Boddice Accounting for their awards successes from all the team here at Falkirk Business Hub. If you’d like to find out more about them, take a look at their website. Take a look at our full list of tenants here.
